How to use essential oils for headaches?

As you might have guessed, I am a sucker for healthy and all-natural choices regarding my health and well-being.

Though, to make it clear, I advocate for finding the best choice for any type of ailment my family or I might have. Safety is always my top priority.

I do like having choices, and I want them to be as organic as possible. Headaches are one of those ailments that I try to remedy at home. Thankfully no one in my family suffers from migraines or headaches that might need a Dr’s visit.

If you do suffer from these types of headaches or migraines. Don’t substitute quality care for some home type remedy. There is a time and place for these types of practices, and emergencies aren’t one of them.

Most of us, including me, find headaches to be a nuisance. They are typically brought on by various reasons such as stress, fatigue, hunger, environment, and sinuses, to name a few.

For my headaches, I can usually count on a peppermint temple rub and some quiet time.

I will mix a few drops of Bnatural’s peppermint organic oil with a carrier oil in a roller bottle. I will lay down, wet my temples, take a few deep breaths, and focus on my meditation.

My meditations are pretty simple. I usually have a few go-to mental images that I use for relaxing and positive meditation.

I will focus on those, conjure up some happy or feel-good emotions, and drift off. Before I know it, my headache is gone, I feel fantastic and ready to face the rest of the day.
