Meditation and Cedarwood Essential Oil
If there is one thing I can’t stand is reading long a** articles that could have been written in a few simple paragraphs.
Get to the point, right? (sorry, a bit of a tangent)
I am a strong advocate for meditation, and whether you think so or not, I would guess that we all meditate at least once a day.
I am underplaying that to make a point. If I was being honest I would say we meditate multiple times throughout the day we just don’t realize it.
But the meditation that I would like to talk about is the one that we set everything aside for a minimum of about fifteen to thirty minutes.
So, let’s get on with the meditation already.
We have a nice quiet space, no one bothering us, and our meditation blend diffusing in the room.
Do we have music? I don’t know, maybe. If so, just make it really simple sounds and very quiet. We find a relaxing place, do some deep breathing.
Now what? I always would get stuck here.
Do I let my mind drift?
Do I create some kind of hypnotic journey?
What the hell is meditating anyway? Quiet chanting?
Then I figured it out.
It’s about building things in my mind. I know, weird.
Imagery is a very strong component of our lives and it helps us create the best now and the best future for ourselves. And when you build a future image of yourself down to the finest detail over time it helps guide your thoughts, behaviors, attitudes, and actions towards that image.
This is meditation.
It is very important to create the best environment possible for these few minutes a day of highly focused meditating.
