Destroy Toxic Thoughts With Mindfulness & Lemon Essential Oil

It’s time to get a grip on those toxic emotions and say good riddance to those unhealthy thoughts.

I am going to tell you how you can take your mindset to the next level.

Sometimes life can feel a little out of control. I am sure that most of us have been there, myself included. Surrounded by so many things coming at you, it’s easy to get wrapped up in emotions and negative thoughts.

They come on fast and are hard to get a grip on.

In a split second, you’re wrapped up in a whirlwind of negative thoughts or toxic behaviors.

It can be relentless.

Negative thoughts, feelings, and behaviors can consist of:

  • Thoughts of not being wanted
  • Feeling you are not being heard
  • Feeling sad
  • Frustrated
  • Feelings confusion
  • Overwhelmed
  • Anxiousness

This simple little thing changed my world, and it can change yours as well.

Mindfulness.

I know! It seems too simple.

But when used correctly, it’s a perfect tool to help stop this blizzard of toxic thoughts and feelings and get you back to a more positive environment and a better you.

So, what is mindfulness?

Mindfulness is a type of meditation that helps you focus on what you are feeling or sensing at that exact moment.

Here is a big key to a successful mindfulness moment or meditation, and that’s being able to feel your emotions at the moment without judgment.

I know! It’s easier said than done.

“Few of us ever live in the present. We are forever anticipating what is to come or remembering what has gone.”

Louis L’Amour.

Feel my emotions without judgment?

Why do I need to feel my emotions without judgment if I am already feeling the feelings!?

There is a dynamic process happening when you focus on what you are feeling at that moment. You focus away from labeling the emotion good or bad, and at the same time, you stop feeding the thought process.

What happened or whatever thought is occurring to get you in an emotional frenzy is, at that moment, the most important thing to you.

It is what I like to call the top of mind.

Refocusing your top of mind to concentrate on your physical feeling prepares you for mindfulness.

We are all obsessed with controlling our feelings and emotions by ignoring them, distracting them, or finding ways to get away from them.

If you feel angry, then feel angry. At this moment, you decide to be proactive or reactive to how you feel.

Anchor the moment

A great way that we can incorporate mindfulness into our positive habits is by creating an anchor.

What is an anchor, you ask?

An example of an anchor for mindfulness is breathing. A behavioral tool used and claimed to work by many avid meditators.

It’s easy to get wrapped up in emotions and negative thoughts. They can come quick and aggressive at times.

Some of us need a little more, bam! To ground us in the present moment!

I have created an anchor from lemon essential oil. I have a bottle of lemon that I carry with me for moments that I need some severe grounding.

A good whiff of bnatural lemon essential oil and boom! My thought process becomes like a 3rd person to whatever is going on. I can see the emotions and whatever is causing the chaos as if I seeing them for what they are.

Refocus, back to being me.

I created a list of essential oils that I have used and that I still use for mindfulness and mindfulness meditation.

I always suggest using bnaturals, all-natural, or organic essential oils anytime that you can. It’s a brand that I trust, and I know that it will be a quality product that you can trust as well.
