Aromatherapy with Essential Oils That I Love!

Aromatherapy with Essential Oils That I Love!

Aromatherapy with essential oils is an excellent therapeutic tool that can do many beautiful things for us! I love using Bnatural essential oils, and I use them every single day.

We offer the best quality, ethical process, and resources to ensure the best product for you and your family.

What Are Essential Oils?

Essential oils are made from various types and parts of flowers, herbs, fruits, and even trees. Different parts of a flower offer different aromas and benefits.

Take the Orange Essential Oil; the oils are extracted from cold pressing the orange peel. As you can imagine, unlike the inner pulp of the orange, the peel doesn’t carry a whole lot of fluids. To produce quality essential oils, it requires a lot of orange peels!

Unlike the peel of an orange, lavender flower petals are steam distilled, and the oil is extracted one single drop at a time.

Drip, drip, drip.

Understanding this helps us see that processing quality essential oils is a long, challenging, and tedious process. It takes time and money to extract these oils from the product.

We take no shortcuts in this process, no synthetics, and no dilutions to our natural products.

What Is Aromatherapy?

Have you ever had a specific smell, change your mood dramatically?

Before essential oils become as popular as they are now, I would use scented candles in my home’s entryway. My favorites were always some sweet food smell! Caramel, toasted marshmallows, or red apple.

No matter what I was going through or how my day was, as soon as I walked through my door and smelled the aroma, I knew everything would be ok.

Whatever the aroma was, it would physically change things within me. My thought process would become more optimistic, my energy would revitalize in an instant, tensions would fade, and my shoulders would relax.

That, my friend, is aromatherapy.

Believe it or not, we have no idea how this works! No matter what you read or who tells you differently, there is no scientific finding in why essential oil aroma affects us the way they do.

Though, it isn’t like essential oils came off the truck last week, right?

We have an accounted history all the way back from the first century, and long before that, the herbs we use today in essential oils were being used with burning scents.

We have learned that specific properties in herbs, flowers, or other natural products affect and help certain types of physical problems for us through different cultures throughout the years. i.e., take plants that help us heal our minor wounds like Aloe Vera, Eucalyptus, Cinnamon, and Chamomile, to name a few.

I love essential oils.

Lavender essential oil is a popular aroma in the US, helping us relax and relieve stress that we acquire through work, family, and doing the day to day activities.

I am currently using Lavender in my diffuser upstairs, where my bedrooms are, and Orange essential in my diffuser downstairs, where the kitchen and living room are. Lavender is to help me relax and sleep, and Orange to help me stay focused and cheerful.

I will change out the essential oils, depending on what my day looks like. If it’s a Sunday afternoon of laying on the couch and reading, I will use Eucalyptus or Tea Tree. If it’s a day of preparing food for a family visit, I will use Peppermint essential oil to help keep me in the cooking spirit.

These are my therapy tools! My aromatherapy tools to help me through my day.

What Aromatherapy does

Within the time that I have been using essential oils, I have noticed my patterns. When I use Orange or other citrus types of essential oil, I tend to talk more with the people around me. I become more reflective with a more earthy aroma of essential oils, which works great when I need a little time to myself.

I absolutely love fall aromas during the holiday seasons, such as Joyful Holiday or Guarded. There is nothing like these essential oils to help lift your spirits during the holiday season.

What Can Essential Oils Help?

  •  Nausea
  •  Insomnia
  • Sore Muscles
  • Minor Wounds

  • Boosting energy
  • Disinfecting

  • Channeling Emotions

This list is all part of our mental and physical health!

The Quality of Essential Oils

The quality of essential oils on the market varies greatly, from all-natural essential oils to oils being sold diluted with less expensive ingredients. And because of the FDA’s lack of regulation, the label may not even list all the ingredients that are in the bottle you’re buying.

I’m not saying that every company selling essential oils are terrible! I am saying that it would be a good idea to filter the process of buying your essential oils. Thinking that you are going to buy a box of 20 bottles of essential oils for $20 and expect a quality product is just not realistic. You will get 95% cheap dilution and 5% essential oil that offers you nothing but a headache.

With Bnatural, I guarantee you quality all-natural essential oils.

Allergic reactions to essential oils

A small number of people may experience irritation or allergic reactions to certain essential oils. You’re more likely to have a bad reaction if you have a history of reactions to topical products.

Because authentic and pure essential oils are potent, diluting them in carrier oil is the best remedy for avoiding a bad reaction when applying topically. If you get a rash, redness, or hives after using essential oils. You may be having an allergic reaction.

A list of carrier oil for you

  • Coconut Oil
  • Jojoba Oil
  • Olive Oil
  • Rosehip Oil
  • Sunflower Oil

Yes, more carrier oils are out there, but these are typically my top five goto’s.

What are the most popular essential oils?

There are hundreds of essential oils, all with different fragrances and purposes. Some of the most popular essential oils include:

  • Lavender oil:  Many people find the lavender scent relaxing. It’s often used to help relieve stress and anxiety and promote good sleep.
  • Tea tree oil:  On the couch with a good novel, Tea Tree is my go-to for my diffuser to an atmosphere of comfort and worry-free that helps me escape into a good book.
  • Peppermint oil:  Peppermint is a go-to for me when I have family over. Peppermint aroma has a great way of reducing stress and offering a carefree environment when the kin comes calling! 😉

  • Lemon oil:  I will put lemon essential oil in my dish soap and laundry soap for a zesty, vibrant clean that I love.

How to find quality essential oils

Product quality is an integral part of buying essential oils, right?

Nobody wants to diffuse synthetic fillers in their home or around their family!

The most important thing to consider when shopping for essential oils is product quality. But figuring out which oils are the best is challenging since no government agency in the U.S. provides a grading system or certification for essential oils.

Unfortunately, you might find lots of products online or in stores that aren’t harvested correctly or may have something in them that isn’t listed on the label.

Here are some tips to help you shop for pure essential oils:

  • Choose dark-colored glass containers: Pure essential oils are highly concentrated. They can dissolve plastic bottles over time, tainting the oil. Bnatural packages essential oils in small amber bottles to protect the oil’s quality to ensure that you receive the best quality product.
  • Compare prices: Essential oils range in price, depending on how involved harvesting and production are. Essential oils like Ylang Ylang or Frankincense will be more expensive, while lemon oil will be less expensive.
  • Too good of a deal: Too good to be true isn’t the same thing as finding a good deal. Essential oils can range from $10 to $50 each and typically sold in 10mL or 15mL bottles. Finding a sale or essential oil kits such as 5 or 10 bottles of essential oils for $20 is just silly.

Essential oils can be an asset to your everyday wellbeing. A $20 bottle of quality essential oil can physically help change how you feel throughout the day and in a healthy way!

Remember, the better the quality of essential oil, the longer the oil will last!

I would love to hear your thoughts on this and if you use my all-natural oils!

As always, be well, be healthy, and bnatural!
